Why was this change necessary?
Updated over a month ago

We understand you might be curious about the reasons behind this change. Due to the changes brought about by BREXIT and in line with UK laws and regulations, all EU financial companies operating in the UK after December 2023, since the Temporary Permissions Regime (TPR) ended, were required to obtain authorization from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This change happened to ensure that we comply with these new regulations.

Up until December '23, your payment services provider has been Viva Payment Services Single Member SA. Following the FCA authorization of our UK subsidiary, VivaWallet.com Ltd. became the only entity legally authorized to provide E-Money and payment services to new clients in the UK. We have since enhanced our range of services to offer even greater support. Our duty to serve you is elevated to that of a UK E-Money Institution, so we now have the leverage to offer you even better services, functionalities, and benefits now provided and offered by Viva Wallet.com Ltd. as a fully licensed E-Money Institution authorized by the FCA in the UK.
