This article explains how to locate, activate or deactivate the account number and sort code (IBAN) that allows you to accept incoming transfers.

IBAN Activation

Looking for instructions on how to create a new IBAN or deactivate it? In this guide, we will show you how to perform all these actions quickly and easily.

From 1/7/2024 customers can make a request from their account's UI for an IBAN designator

To create a new IBAN, follow these steps:

On the Account list page or from the Accounts detail page, you will be able to request for an IBAN activation for an account that does not have IBAN either for a subwallet or for primary account

Activation will be enabled after approval from viva.com. Meanwhile you will be able to see that the request is in progress

You will be informed about the approval of the request at your Dashboard Feed

Where can I find my account's IBAN?

Once the request is completed, you can locate the IBAN as follows:

After logging into your professional viva.com account, select "Accounts" from the menu on the left.

On the screen that appears, you will see a list of all your business accounts, and you can view the IBAN numbers in two ways:

  1. Either in the "IBAN Account Number" column

  2. Or by clicking the "IBAN Details" button

IBAN Deactivation

You can deactivate your IBAN subscription, and the deactivation will be effective at the end of the billing period. Select "Accounts" and then select "Deactivate IBAN". In case you have more than one, select "Details" from the IBAN you wish to deactivate and then select "Deactivate IBAN".
