MT940 is a standard electronic bank statement format, available to all Viva.com merchants, that can be used to import account and transaction information into accounting, ERP and treasury systems.
MT940 files can help businesses automate bank reconciliation by providing account balance and transaction information in a structured, plain-text format.
How to download an MT940 file
Sign in to your Viva.com account.
From the left-hand menu, select Reports.
Select MT940 Files.
Select the date for the statement you want to download.
Select Download.
Which dates can I select?
You can select one date at a time.
Today's date is not available because MT940 data for today is not yet available. The latest date you can select is yesterday. The Download button remains unavailable until you select a valid date.
What file will I receive?
Your MT940 statement is downloaded as a plain-text (.txt) file.
You can use the downloaded file with accounting, ERP or treasury systems that support the MT940 format.
