How do I use Google Pay?

You can use Google Pay for:

Online and in-app purchases

Select the Google Pay option at checkout and follow the on-screen instructions.

In-store purchases

Unlock your phone or smartwatch and hold it near the payment terminal to make a contactless payment.

Where can I use Google Pay?

You can use Google Pay anywhere you see the Google Pay symbol, both online and in stores.

You can also use Google Pay for cash withdrawals at ATMs, provided your digital card has been added to Google Pay and the ATM supports contactless card transactions.

Which devices are compatible with Google Pay?

Google Pay is compatible with:

  • Smartphones running Android Lollipop (5.0) or later

  • Smartwatches running Google Wear OS
