Look at the message displayed on the device's screen. The most common messages are:
PED TAMPERED > ALL KEYS WERE CLEARED
TAMPERED > ENTER PASSWORD
β₯Note the Model and Serial Number
Check the model and serial number of your device. This will help identify the issue.
β₯Report Any Incidents
Inform us if the message appeared suddenly or if there was a prior incident, such as:
Water spilled on the device
The terminal fell on the floor
It appeared during a transaction
There was a power outage while the terminal was charging
